CPM conducts asset allocation research and creates ETF model portfolios. It is led by Jeff Hansen and uses a network of data scientists, mathematicians, and programmers located around the world in the development of its proprietary tools and technologies.
Jeffrey began his career in geophysics and natural resource exploration before moving into the investment industry. He started by evaluating quantitative investment managers at Russell Investments, where he reviewed hundreds of strategies across the U.S. and Asia. He later advised large investment firms on capturing team insights and building product lines using the Technology Adoption Cycle as a framework, and went on to serve as a portfolio manager for global multi-asset mutual funds sold in Japan. Since 2015, he has focused on asset allocation research and delivering ETF model portfolios to individual investors.
